Party Time

It's finally here!

And of course, life is crazy.  But I painted myself into this corner and I won't be attempting to escape any time soon.  Paint has to dry, after all.

But enough of my nonsense.

To start the party, I figured we'd start both small and big.  We'll escalate a bit throughout the week, but I figured a nice little bonus never hurts.

So for today....Duh da ta daa!!!!

One monkey and a $10 gift card to iTunes!

I love iTunes, and so do most other people.  Don't fret, this is the first of a few iTunes gift cards, so if you don't win today, there will be chances later in the week.

In your comment, why don't you tell me what you might spend this gift card on?

Remember!
For a chance to win you must:
  • Be a follower on my blog (really easy. Check out the right hand side where you can follow through networked blogs by connecting to facebook)
  • Comment on this blog before 12:00am PST
More chances to win are coming! Be sure to pay attention throughout the week!

If I'm going to be completely honest...my son would end up with the iTunes card...lol. Which is cool...because when I want music I just purge it from his ridiculously vast library. Yeah...he has about 20k songs on his iPod. He plans to be the lead guitarist in the next band as big as Blink 182. :) Creativity runs in the family.

I have some favorite songs in my "watch later" file on YouTube I'd spend it on. Laura Story's "Blessings in Disguise" would be one of them. Maybe a Michael Buble song or two. And maybe Arise my Love by Newsong...

I don't have an iPod, but I make CD's and play them in my van. :D

I went to a concert the other day and heard a new to me artist. I really want to buy his CD's so this gift card would go toward that! If you like country music check out Aaron Watson!

If I won the gift card, I would... well, spend it on iTunes products. Namely, books for my iPod or even... music! Although, I'm fairly full of music currently, and could always use a new read.

I would probably give it away to someone that loves iTunes more than I do. However, I have been thinking of getting some Linkin Park songs.... Well I guess I don't need to make a decision until I win... or don't win... then I would not have a decision to make....

I would party like its 1999! And I wouldn't buy any songs by Prince...

There's been some metal albums that I have wanted to acquire for a while now, specifically Periphery's newest CD that came out a bit ago. But, I've always found that something else might catch your eyes when you actually go and look! Plus, I like anything that might help inspire me on my music writing journey! :)

Thanks for doing this, Kelsey!

I would put it in a box with my other iTunes cards until I log In to assign it, then it would buy random songs I hear on the radio and can't live without.

I love hearing what you guys would do with it!
Especially buying books, Mira - that's right to the heart of things ;)

Chad, are you a follower of this blog yet? And who is Unknown (Stephanie G?)

Okay, monkeys go into The Glitter Globe for divine inspiration. Tunes - oh yeah - to jump on the bed by, or run to - and I think something awesomely by Temper Trap would sound good right through my ear mouse.

Yee-haw! I didn't have to prove I'm not a robot! Thank you, cause I can't.

So many possibilities. There are a few country songs which mean a lot to me personally that I don't have. Downhere and Matthew West are also on my to get list, along with RED. I'd also like some more Van Canto & Blind Guardian. (If you've never heard them - you should look them up. They're like listening to epic fantasy.)

I'd probably spend it on some Mumford and Sons or Paper Route.
